New aquarium arrived

Sam's new aquarium arrived today. It is 60cm X 30cm X 30cm and is the ideal size for Sam at the moment.

I have set it up without a filter for now and will get it set up properly once I have some splitters for the air pump.

Sam is actually in the tank but is hidden behind the rock at the back.

I think that Sam will be happy in this tank for a while yet.

I have decided to set up the other 2ft tank that arrived today up for the little axolotls that are in the tank with the fish and shrimp at the moment as the fish keep eating the daphnia that I am putting into the tank for the axolotl's.

There is no rush to get this done so I will take my time with it.

I also tested the fit of the big tanks in the rack that I picked up on Wednesday and it fits perfectly!

Once I am off shift on Tuesday I will strip the frame down and take it to be powder coated black.

Unfortunately Amazon let me down with the delivery of the cleaning product so I can not get the tank clean yet. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow and I can get it clean over the weekend.

Just been in to check on Sam and it is walki g around the tank and even ate a couple of pellets.

The big axolotl was also feeding and ate a small worm tonight which if hasn't done for a while.
